With games called off due to pitch conditions and County Cup games taking place, there was a limited programme in the Evening News Norwich Sunday League this week.
The Silver Fox took the chance to go to the top of the Premier Division when they had a good 4-1 home win over Norman Wanderers. The Grove moved up to fourth spot after scoring seven without reply at Salhouse Rovers.
In 1A, Windmill Wanderers overcame Rose Valley Utd 3-2 and in 1B Mattishall YCOB went down 4-1 at home to Norfolk CCSC, who now top the division. Chris Hoy (2) Beau Archer and David Asker scored for the visitors.
Division 3B leaders Mischief won 5-3 at Aylsham Sunday Res, whilst in 4A there were two games, Hellesdon Ath Res moved into second spot after thumping AFC Mousehold 9-1 and the Earlham Colney, Brickmakers game saw the spoils shared in a six goal thriller.
Two games also took place in 4B; Freethorpe Sunday beat Spixworth Sunday Res 3-2, whilst Maid Marian went down 2-0 at home to Hingham Athletic.
