Aidy Boothroyd has included three current Norwich City players in his England Under-21 squad for October’s UEFA U21 Euro Qualifiers with Andorra and Turkey - but Todd Cantwell hasn’t been selected.

City right-back Max Aarons, outgoing defender Ben Godfrey and Tottenham Hotspur loanee Oliver Skipp will all feature for the Young Lions as they continue their preparations for the U21 European Championships.

Cantwell, who was not part of the Canaries travelling party to Bournemouth last weekend, hasn’t been named in the squad.

Boothroyd has picked a 23-man squad for the double header, which starts with an early trip to Andorra on Wednesday 7 October before the U21s return to home soil to face Turkey at Molineux on Tuesday 13 October.

Aarons has made five appearances for England’s U21s, Godfrey is in line to make his fourth - although looks set to become an Everton player in the coming days. Skipp will be hoping to receive his fourth cap at U21 level.
