Norwich City manager Glenn Roeder is believed to be closing in on his 11th capture of the summer - Tottenham Hotspur youngster Troy Archibald-Henville.
The 19-year-old centre-back is reportedly set to join the Canaries on loan from White Hart Lane, possibly for the season, as cover for the injured Gary Doherty who will miss the first three months of the season.
Archibald-Henville was reserve team captain for Spurs last season and made the first team bench on two occasions, although he is yet to make his full debut.
Meanwhile, Roeder is believed to be closing in on the target man he wants as part of his striker options for the coming campaign, with Leicester City's Steve Howard and Newcastle United striker Shola Ameobi continuing to be linked with a switch to Carrow Road.
