Gimingham Reserves, whose first team won the trophy in 1995-96, eliminated Briston 5-0 while Stalham A, whose Reserves were winners in 1994-95, came through 3-2 over Smithdon Hunstanton.
Other successes included Aldborough Lions who beat Saham Toney 9-2 and Corpusty who hit nine goals without reply against Pentney. Bawdeswell chalked up a 5-2 win over Dilham, Holt A beat Old Hunstanton 2-0, Cromer YOB beat Thurton 3-2 and Ashby and Bodham crushed Thorpe Village A 10-0.
In Slater and Frith Division One, reigning champions East Ruston gained a 3-2 win at Erpingham and North Walsham OB won their local derby against the Angels A team 5-2.
