Sutton appointed Lincoln City manager
Chris Sutton has been appointed as Lincoln City’s new manager. Sutton – who lives in north Norfolk – will bring Ian Pearce with him as his assistant and they will start their roles on Wednesday.

Sutton, who was at Carrow Road to watch Norwich reserves play Watford last week, met with Imps officials twice.

Reports also claim former Norwich manager Glenn Roeder, plus David Platt, are in the running to be assistant to Sven-Goran Eriksson when he takes over as Notts County manager.
