Diss completed their pre-season friendly matches with a 5-0 defeat against Ryman League newcomers Lowestoft Town.
Lowestoft gained promotion last season and looked a very good side as they scored four second half goals after a fairly even first half.
The first chance of the match fell to Diss in the 5th minute. A corner from Chris Collins-Reed was headed over by Ben Soanes. Richard Woodrow headed Lowestoft into a 20th minute lead to a cross from Jamie Godbold.

Carl Poppy shot in to make it 2-0 in the 48th minute and Martyn Magee made it three just six minutes later. A 3-0 score would have been a fair reflection of the evening but two late goals inside a minute completed the scoring. Jamie Godbold used his pace to set up Craig Bussens for the fourth goal before Poppy completed the scoring.
