Three goals in the first 21 minutes saw Diss through to the semi-finals of the Ridgeons League Division One Cup. The first goal came in the 11th minute when a cross from the right by Andy Moody was put in by Steve Wright. Moody was brought down by Dean Costello to allow Adie Hayes to make it 2-0 from the spot. And a long clearance from Steve Best was headed over Floyd Croll by Danny Partridge to complete the scoring.
