After finishing runners-up in Division One North with a solid 2-2 draw against West Lynn, Taverham had the chance of promotion in a play-off game against Billericay Town.
Taverham, who were billed as the underdogs, just edged the game away from Billericay with a 1-0 victory with only four minutes of extra time remaining, the goal supplied by midfielder Laura Sutton.
This secured the team's place in the Premier Division to play alongside other Norfolk teams Hethersett and West Lynn.
