Glenn Roeder has no new injury concerns ahead of the Canaries' Coca-Cola Championship match against Sheffield United at Carrow Road tomorrow afternoon (3pm).

Martin Taylor has no lasting effects from the cramp which cut short his evening against Plymouth on Tuesday and is expected to start the final match of his current loan deal, although Roeder has hopes of extending it beyond Saturday. Jason Shackell looks set to be recalled in central defence as Gary Doherty serves a one-match ban after picked up his fifth yellow card of the season at Stoke last weekend.

Midfielder Darel Russell is also suspended after picking up five bookings this term, so Roeder will have to reshuffle his midfield pack. On-loan Jimmy Smith is the most likely candidate to fill Russell's shoes after impressing in training.

Ched Evans will be hoping for another start after scoring within three minutes of his home debut on Tuesday, although who plays alongside the youngster is unclear, with Jamie Cureton and Dion Dublin competing to make Roeder's starting eleven.

Matty Pattison has started every game since his loan move from Newcastle United, and that isn't likely to change on Saturday for what is expected to be a bruising encounter against Bryan Robson's side.

However, Roeder may be tempted to tinker with his formation for Saturday, with Sheffield United adopting a five man midfield supporting the lone figure of the Championship's leading scorer James Beattie upfront.

Robson is expected to name an unchanged side to face Norwich tomorrow, despite losing 3-0 at home to Stoke City on Tuesday evening where the Blades conceded three times in the opening 19 minutes.

The defensive loan duo of right-back Phil Bardsley from Manchester United, and the highly rated central defender Gary Cahill of Aston Villa will both keep their places at the back for the Blades on Saturday.

Sheffield United striker Billy Sharp will make his first appearance against the Canaries' since turning down a £2m move to Carrow Road in the summer, but it is likely to be from the bench. The former Scunthorpe United forward has failed to score in his seven Championship appearances this season, four of them as substitute.
