Manager Paul Lambert must decide whether to stick or twist as Norwich City put League One's only unbeaten home record to the test tomorrow.

The leaders go to Huddersfield Town with midfielder Darel Russell available again after completing a three-match suspension for his red card in the 2-0 home defeat by Southampton three weeks ago.

The Canaries have won all three matches without Russell and are nine points clear of third place, giving Lambert the option of keeping faith with a winning team, or recalling the experienced campaigner for the battle with the play-off hopefuls at the Galpharm Stadium (3pm).

In his Evening News column tonight, Lambert says: “The lads have done a terrific job and won three games in his absence but Rusty has played a major part in getting us where we are and where we want to be.

“His return gives me another selection option for tomorrow and it's a good position to be in. He will be in the squad but whether he plays you'll have to wait and see - I will pick the team I think gives us the best chance of winning the game.”

If Russell returns, the Canaries could revert to the diamond midfield formation, so successful for most of this season, against the team managed by former City assistant boss Lee Clark.

Lambert reported no fresh injury problems. Full-back Adam Drury, back in action after a thigh injury, played more than an hour in the reserve match at Southend on Tuesday and will travel with the squad to Yorkshire.

“He's coming up with us. He only played an hour the other day but as long as there is no reaction, he'll come with us,” said Lambert.

Clark is without 19-year-old striker Nathan Eccleston, on loan from Liverpool but starting a three-match ban for his red card in the 2-0 defeat at Gillingham last week, while former City target Robbie Simpson is another absentee with a quad tear.

But right-back Lee Peltier could return after missing the defeats by Southampton and Gillingham with an ankle injury, and there could be a recall to the starting line-up for left-back Dean Heffernan and former Ipswich winger Gary Roberts.
