THETFORD TOWN U12 played away to Bulldogs in a catch-up game and came away 2-0 victors. The game started as you would have expected from a local derby, with both teams battling for possession and being very even to start with both teams having chances. Town finally took the lead with a great run from Jake Smith slotting it past the keeper. Town's heads were lifted and they started to put more pressure on Bulldogs, but their defence were hard to break down. Jake hit a scorcher from just over halfway. The second half started as the first but with Town having the harder job of going uphill, they had their work cut out but still managed to keep possession and apply pressure but nothing was going Town's way and in the dying seconds Spenec made a superb save and so the game ended with another three points in the bag. Town's MoM: Nathan Boulton. Bulldogs' MoM: Dominik Kluseck.

BRANDON LASSES U12 beat Stowupland Falcons U12 5-0. Another superb team performance for the Lasses in their last home league fixture of the season saw them take the point against a spirited Stowupland. The visitors defended well and with their keeper in top form frustrated the constant wave of Lasses pressure to keep it 0-0 at the break. Brianna Jamgochian started the second half with a strong run and cut back for Ellesse Masters to finish at the far post. Ellesse then picked up the ball in midfield and ran in on goal and netted her second. Amy Skipp then pounced on a loose ball in the box adding the third and Chloe Killingworth scored from close range for the fourth. Chloe Slater finished the scoring with a well-deserved goal from another good run and finish from midfield. Stow had their chances on the break but the defence of Lucy Page and Bethany Field, with Katie Meeson in goal, kept yet another clean sheet. The Lasses played some really good passing football, combining really well as a team, and will need to take this form into the top-of-the-table clash at Cornard.

BRANDON LASSES U15 beat Needham Market 10-0. Brandon's last league game of the season produced a fine display. Everyone played their part from Megan Norton, Sally Eastwood and Frankie Torrance at the back, Rachel Lynch, Tash Rutter who ran midfield, through to Kayleigh Nolan and Harriet Mills up front. The goals came from Nolan (four), Mills (three) Lynch (two) and Tash Rutter. Brandon hope that other results go their way in the hunt for a second-place finish. PoM: Sally Eastwood.

BRANDON LADS U9 beat Mulbarton 15-1. Brandon started off with good form and soon took the lead though Jake Vincent. Mulbarton, who have improved since the last time these sides were drawn together, came on the counter-attack and were unlucky not to be level had it not been for the Brandon keeper. Stephen Clarke continued his good form and a brilliant pass to Jake Vincent led to goal number two. Cameron Francis' runs down the wing always troubled the Mulbarton defence. Mulbarton came pressing again and good defensive work by Ben Long, Callam Horn and Tyler Churchill was enough to deal with the Mulbarton attackers. Jake's shot just outside the box led to his third. Mulbarton pressed in the second quarter and had the Brandon keeper making good saves. Brandon pressed forward and Jake scored his forth then fifth. Callam Horn made a run down the wing, and was rewarded with a fine goal. More good football led to Jake scoring another. Alex Matthews started running at the defence and scored a brilliant goal. Brandon were awarded a penalty, Stephen Clarke hammered the ball into the back of the net. Mulbarton scored their first and Callam Horn got his second of the game. Great football was played by both teams. Jake continued his fantastic season with another two. Brandon always looked strong on the attack and were rewarded with three more goals in the last quarter, one from Stephen Clarke and two from Alex Matthews. MoM: Jake Vincent.

BULLDOGS U9 took on a much-improved Toftwood without Pedro. In the first quarter Bulldogs dominated with some nice work from Joseph and Daniel on the wings creating chances for the lively Rhys. Jayden and Luke were keeping solid at the back and Rhys kept coming close. The breakthrough finally came when Daniel crossed for Rhys to poach in a tidy little finish at the front post. In the next quarter Toftwood came into the game and Jack was at his best with some strong tackles and Bulldogs still looked on top but were wasteful in front of goal. Joseph's cross was hit against a post by Luke. The next quarter Bulldogs hit the bar early on after Lewis beat a couple but was unlucky with his powerful finish. Then, against the run of play, Toftwood snatched a goal with a delicate finish low into the corner. Bulldogs continued to pressure with Joseph's free-kick inches away. The pressure was intensified in the last quarter with a great save stopping Luke from winning and with time running out Jayden launched a long clearance which Rhys got onto and lobbed the defender and then the keeper to score a real special goal to claim an important win. MoM: Joseph.

BULLDOGS U9 hosted Dereham Blue in the league. Bulldogs rested Lewis and Joseph but were boosted by the returning Pedro. Bulldogs started quickly as a great move saw Jayden feed Luke who dummied it for Rhys to smash into the net. Bulldogs continued to dominate and after a corner was cleared Jayden smashed it back in from the half-way line straight into the net to score a class goal. The next quarter Bulldogs pressured as Jack had his shot cleared off the line. Dereham then started to pressure Bulldogs but Jack and Pedro were very assured at the back, clearing everything that was coming their way, while Quinn was feeding some good balls through to pressure the defence. The next quarter Dereham were dominant and John had to claim some good balls. Bulldogs came close but Daniel couldn't quite latch onto a good cross by Pedro. Dereham then stunned Bulldogs as their captain lashed in a marvellous goal from the edge of the area. The last quarter Bulldogs found their flow and another wonder goal all but sealed the match as Luke bent in a great strike from 20 yards into the corner for 3-1. This was followed by Luke slotting in a good long throw from Daniel into the bottom corner to seal a well-earned 4-1 win. MoM: Daniel.

LAKENHEATH LEOPARDS U12 played Rocklands U12, with a good turnout of fans for both teams. Both sides competed well for the ball, never giving an inch. The deadlock was broken midway through the first half when Kieron Danbrowsky broke through after a fine pass from Sam Buckley, and he scored. Piotr Babicz, in the Lakenheath goal, dominated his 18-yard area and every ball that came into it was his. The boys came off for the half-time break tired but pleased with their play. The second half started at the same frantic pace and it wasn't long before the second goal was scored. Again it was Kieron who put the ball in the back of the net. This picked the Lakenheath team up as Rocklands were threatening to score from the break, their forwards a constant threat. A bit of breathing space was gained when Kieron completed his hat-trick. However, Rocklands stepped up their game and pulled a goal back, and then Lakenheath conceded an own goal to bring Rocklands within striking difference. Lakenheath dug deep and continued to press the Rocklands goal. From a corner Lakenheath nearly scored their fourth but the ball was cleared. They continued to press and Ben Nolan was rewarded with a goal after he headed in from close range. Lakenheath now look forward to the return match in five days' time. MoM: Miles Stiddard and manager's MoM: Connor Knight.

MUNDFORD U14 played West Winch, away in the league and after a slow start came away comfortable 6-1 winners. The game started with end-to-end football but neither team were able to score until a ball from Sam Bunten was headed in by Casey Underwood. A great corner from Mason Thorogood enabled Underwood to score Mundford's second goal but West Winch immediately replied with their only goal of the game. Mundford fought back and were rewarded when a run from Bunten was crossed in to the head of Underwood, to complete his hat-trick. Half-time score 3-1. In the second half a shot from Archie Blakemore was dropped by the keeper and Underwood made it 4-1. Blakemore then headed in Mundford's fifth goal and Bunten completed the scoring for 6-1. A good team performance, with great work from Adam Brown and Thorogood in midfield and attacking play from Bunten.

MUNDFORD U9 played Wymondham, which was a very tense match after a slow start. Sam Rolph had a couple of shots at the goal in the second quarter unfortunately missing but came back with a good pass to Harvey Shoreton who managed to put Mundford in the lead by one goal. The impenetrable defence of Mundford was only broken by a long-range free-kick given to Wymondham which went over Angus Marsh's head, levelling the scores. Just before the end of the third quarter a fine solo effort from Fernando Alves put Mundford into a 2-1 lead. Victory was secured with a goal by Harry Cater which had rebounded off the keeper from a Harvey shot. Mundford 3, Wymondham 1. A well-deserved win for Mundford. MoM: Fernando Alves.

MUNDFORD U9 hosted a league game for a change against Indies B U9 and it did not stop them from pulling out all the stops. The top goalscorer Harvey Shoreton was absent due to sickness but the team, including the returning Billy Morris, more than made up for his absence with Sam Rolph scoring a magnificent four goals, closely followed by Jude Blakemore (MoM) managing a hat-trick. Harry Cater scored two goals, the second being in the first 10 seconds of the second quarter. Indies B players were constantly chasing the ball, their star girl number seven won their PoM award. Continual good defending at the back by James Gornall meant that not a lot got past to goalie Angus Marsh. However, this was a different story for the Indies B goalie who let in a final goal from Fernando Alves making the final score 10-0, the third clean sheet in a row.

HARLING COLTS U12 beat Scole 8-1. Scole gave Harling an early scare, scoring first but Sam Smith headed home Rob Turner's cross to equalise. Isaac Watkinson gave Harling the lead before the break, poking home a Daniel Mobbs cross. Watkinson then set up Smith for the third, before Luke Holland scored with a long-range rocket. A Mobbs free-kick was then headed in for an own goal, followed by a Watkinson blast from Smith's pass. Turner set up Watkinson to complete his hat-trick, before Smith completed his hat-trick from Holland's pass. Thomas Dunning and MoM Daniel Canham had great games in defence.

THETFORD INDIES U9A faced Watton and put on a confident performance to see off their hosts. Despite the 15-1 scoreline reflecting Indies' dominance, they got off to a slow start with a couple of scares from Watton. A single Alfie Cooper strike looked to be all that Indies would get out of the first 15 minutes until Cooper popped up with a second followed by Kehan Whitby's first goal. Whitby added another, then there was a Connor Noble goal, finishing off a Cooper pass. Watton scored with a deflected shot, but Cooper made it 6-1. Noble scored a second before Konnor Dixon's hard work was rewarded with a goal scored from distance. Whitby made it nine before a beautiful through ball from Whitby set Aiden Try up to slot the first of his two goals home. Whitby and Try then got one more each. Cooper scored a fourth before netting after his penalty rebounded off the bar. A further Cooper goal meant it ended Watton 1, Indies 15. MoM: Aiden Try, worked hard round the pitch.

THETFORD INDIES U9A completed their most comfortable victory and convincing display for several weeks when they met Harling. A flurry of goals began when Connor Noble netted the first goal after just 60 seconds when he got on the end of a Kehan Whitby cross. Alfie Cooper then stole the show with five consecutive goals. At 6-0 Indies still continued to work as a solid unit across the pitch from defence through to attack. Whitby's efforts contributed significantly to the overall team display. Noble added his second followed by Aiden Try's first of the match to make it 8-0. Harling worked hard during the third quarter to keep further scoring limited to just one goal from Noble, but normal service was resumed when Try rattled home three goals including one overhead effort. The 13-0 scoreline was completed by defender Brandon Dawson. MoM: Aiden Try.

THETFORD INDIES U9B hosted Mulbarton and initially the teams looked well matched but Indies' confidence grew resulting in an increasing number of goal attempts. Blake's hard work was finished off by Fowles then Blake was rewarded soon after as Richardson's shot at goal was saved but left for Blake to take advantage of, and score the second goal. There were plenty of goal attempts but a steadfast refusal by the ball to hit the back of the net. The play was excellent with good passing, co-operation, support and anticipation but this was not reflected in the 2-0 final scoreline. MoM: Blake.

THETFORD INDIES U9B hosted Mundford and with Indies having injuries and absence it meant they were down to six players, some in unfamiliar positions, and no substitutes. Indies started well with hard work and good play. Some exciting team work from Blake, Fowles and Richardson almost found the net. Indies' determination continued, conceding a few goals but exhaustion and demoralisation caused by the relentless pressure from Mundford allowed several more goals through in the second half. Great displays from those who were happy to play in goal. Final score: Indies 0, Mundford 10. MoM: Richardson.

THETFORD INDIES U9B travelled to Lakenheath and started well with good, confident play. Brown set up Richardson for a close call early on. Lakenheath spotted opportunities to punch through the defence in the middle of the field repeatedly and made the Indies pay a heavy price for this - 10 goals were conceded in the middle two quarters. After careful analysis and encouragement from the coach, the Indies returned to top form. The first goal was started by Fowles feeding Brown who showed great control and then to Richardson for a fine finish. The next was started by Heathershaw passing to Fowles who finished with an unstoppable shot. Great performances from those who were happy to play in goal. Final score: Lakenheath 12, Indies 2. MoM: Fowles.

THETFORD INDIES U10 travelled close to home this week as Bulldogs entertained Indies. They started well with Ryan Fox scoring twice early on. Bulldogs pulled one back to make it 2-1. Again Indies pressed bulldogs back and soon went 3-1 up. From the restart Bulldogs went forward and an excellent finish put them back in the match 3-2. Two more goals, one a penalty by Ben Daynes and then one from Reece Rudd put Indies 5-3 up, but still Bulldogs still fought back and made it 5-4. But a goal towards the end by Taylor Vickers made the final score 6-4 to Indies. Hat-trick hero Ryan Fox. MoM: Aaron Bayford.

THETFORD INDIES U13 travelled to local rivals Brandon and came away 2-0 winners. A fine move put Jordan Foster away down the right who found Tom Mason to put Indies ahead with a coolly taken shot. Charlie Reed set up Tom Mason who unselfishly passed to Jordan Foster whose shot was well saved by the Brandon keeper. Then Ty Whitby was harshly sent off for retaliating after being fouled. Luke Chappell had a shot whizz just wide and Luke Jones hit a post with a long-range effort. Kieron Fowler turned on the edge of the area to smash the ball home and make the game safe for Indies. Great display from Indies who played with 10 for most of the match. MoM Kieron Fowler and Jordan Foster.

WEETING U10 keep hold of third spot after an excellent 6-2 win over a good Dereham Stags side. The game was fairly even early on but Weeting scored through J Peeling and then N Ward rifled home after a corner. Peeling volleyed home from the edge of the box. Dereham did manage to pull one back halfway through but their hope for a come back was short-lived when a excellent cross from the left was turn in by a unlucky defender. The second half was only a minute old when C Stone pounced on a mistake to make it 5-1, once again an excellent cross from the left was turned in by the same unlucky defender to make it 6-1. But give full credit to the home team who never gave up and forced C Sheppard into pulling off two fine saves. They did score the final goal when from a corner the forward met the ball well to fire in an excellent goal. MoM: N Ward. PoD M McCready.
