Hempnall Reserves, in their first game of the season and with a new look side, were up against a very hard working Thorpe team who on the day took their chances. Hempnall sometimes looked a little less a settled team and were at times under a lot of pressure. Individually the players seemed capable of holding their own but did allow themselves to get drawn out of position. The second half they looked a shade more of a team and were creating chances to score but had to satisfied with the solitary goal from Paul Kemp. Obviously managers Nick Page and David Arnold will soon remedy the situation and with the players they have available they could well improve with each game.
