Cromer are in danger of being left stranded by the top two in the Dolphin Autos Anglian Combination Premier Division today.

The third-placed Crabs are without a game, while leaders Sheringham face struggling Hindringham and Acle United, just two points behind from a game more, entertain AFC Norwich.

Victories for the favourites would leave Cromer eight points off the top and six behind Acle - although they will fancy their chances of getting something from Hindringham on Bank Holiday Monday.

Acle missed the chance to go top last weekend when they were held to a 1-1 draw at hoem to bototm side Holt United.

Hempnall - in fourth place level on points with Cromer but from three games more - are without a holiday fixture and could find themselves overtaken by North Walsham Town and Blofield United, who are away to Sprowston Athletic and at home to Watton United respectively.

Holt look to be a lost cause at the bottom, but after last week's effort will be hoping for a change of fortune when they entertain Beccles Town today - a good win and defeat for Watton could see them swap places.
