Tour fun for Wymondham Ladies
FOOTBALL: Wymondham Ladies travelled to Newquay for their first-ever tour, in which they were able to relax after a lot of hard work during the season.
The team had a great time for all three days and nights, visiting the town, having a barbecue, going to the beach and partying.
As it is a national competition, with teams from Yorkshire, Devon, Hampshire, Oxford and Surrey competing, it was always going to be a tough competition, and in usual Wymondham style, the girls rose to the occasion and went undefeated in the group stage.
They scored six goals and conceding none, taking them to second in the league, gaining 14 out of a possible 18 points playing some excellent football and some great teamwork.
The semi-finals of the competition saw Wymondham play one of Andover Ladies teams, who were last year’s winners and whose other team was in the other semi-final, and after 75 minutes of six-a-side football already played that day,

Wymondham conceded their first game of the tournament, which ultimately knocked them out but it was enough for them to finish a great trip in third _ which was a great achievement for the team.
Wymondham Ladies are looking for new players for the upcoming season.
