Transfer silly season is in full swing, with Norwich City already linked with over 50 players, in spite of limited resources and a desire to keep the club’s title-winning squad largely in tact.

The only two signings so far were revealed before confirmation, with the Telegraph accurately claiming Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts was joining on loan and Football Insider breaking news of young Rochdale midfielder Dan Adshead's arrival this week, for a reported £300,000 fee.

GOALKEEPERS - Simon Sluga (HNK Rijeka)

After playing a starring role in Croatia Cup final win the 26-year-old was linked with City, Sheffield United, Derby, Dinamo Zagreb and Hertha Berlin by Goal.com, with a £1.8m fee suggested for a player who has since won his first Croatia cap.

Dominik Reimann (Holsten Kiel)

The Sun claim Daniel Farke could be reunited with his former Borussia Dortmund II keeper, a 21-year-old who was number two at Bundesliga II side Holsten Kiel last season.

Irish Sun reported that Canaries and Leeds were interested as 20-year-old hasn't yet signed a new contract with Cherries after breaking through during latter stages of last season.

A host of expensive options brought a laugh from Stuart Webber in our exclusive interview with City's sporting director earlier this month, with Sweden international Robin Olsen (Roma), Joe Hart (Burnley), Simon Mignolet (Liverpool) and Alex McCarthy (Southampton) all expensive options linked in national newspapers. Webber said: "Simon Mignolet. I have to say that made me laugh. Nothing against him, he is a top keeper, but just the figures. That would be the most crazy one I can think of."

DEFENDERS - Luis Advincula (Tigres)

Peru international right-back, 29, was linked to City and Sheffield United in sports newspaper El Bocon in his homeland ahead of returning to parent club Tigres, in Mexico, following loan at Rayo Vallecano in Spain.

Pawel Bochniewicz (Udinese)

Centre-back, 23, was a summer target for City and Watford after impressing in Poland while on loan at Gornik Zabrze, claimed The Sun. Latest reports suggest he will sign permanently for Zabrze, after turning down German second-tier side Arminia Bielefeld.

Mehdi Zeffane (Rennes)

French full-back, 26, was linked by sports website le10sport with his contract due to expire. L'equipe have since reported talks with Fiorentina and Espanyol.

The Sun claimed the Ghana international full-back, 28, was interesting the Canaries, Aston Villa and Rangers as he was available for £500,000 due to having just a year left on his contract with Royal Antwerp in Belgium.

Marco Burki (Zlute Waregem)

Centre-back was being chased by City, Nottingham Forest, Leganes and Torino according to Het Laatste Nieuws in Belgium, after impressing in the Belgian second tier, with around £750,000 mentioned for the Swiss 25-year-old.

Others

Yoann Barbet was linked ahead of his Brentford exit but has joined QPR and Croatia defender Domagoj Vida is set to stay with Besiktas according to reports in Turkey. Young options for the under-23 squad have also been mentioned, including Ireland U21 defender Conor Masterson ahead of his Liverpool exit, Shrewsbury left-back Rhys Davies and Leyton Orient centre-back Dan Happe.

MIDFIELDERS - Semi Ajayi (Rotherham)

Towering defender-turned midfielder, 25, impressed with eight goals in 48 games for the relegated Millers, with the former Arsenal trainee scoring against Norwich, and Nigerian football website Sports247 claiming City's interest. Team-mate Will Vaulks has also consistently been linked in the past year and is now a Wales international.

Marvin Bakalorz (Hannover)

German central midfielder is due to make a decision on his future soon, Hannover coach Mirko Slomka told Sportbuzzer this week, with Freiburg and Augsburg also mentioned following Hannover's relegation from the Bundesliga.

Kasey Palmer (Chelsea)

Another transfer window, another link to the Chelsea midfielder, who Stuart Webber took to Huddersfield on loan previously, this time from The Sun. Has had limited loan success at Derby, Blackburn and Bristol City.

The Sun also floated a possible return for former loanee Harrison Reed after City's promotion, as he returned to Southampton after a season on loan at Blackburn.

Isaac Hayden (Newcastle)

Talented midfielder was linked by the Telegraph despite fee in the region of £15m, with the player keen to move south due to family reasons. West Ham are said to lead the chase.

Rekeem Harper (West Brom)

Tottenham and Norwich were reported to be keen on the Baggies' England U19 midfielder, with his contract set to expire. New boss Slaven Bilic is set for talks for the youngster, with Celtic also recently mentioned.

Bournemouth, Southampton and City all said to be keen on the Leeds star, but £15m fee for defensive midfielder likely to be too expensive for Canaries.

Wales Online reported that former Palace and Ipswich playmaker Jonny Williams had been offered to clubs including Norwich, while highly-rated Luxembourg international Vincent Thill of Metz and released Arsenal talent Charlie Gilmour are young options linked. Ingolstadt's Sonny Kittel reportedly turned down City to sign for Hamburg and Wolfsburg ace Elvis Rexhbecaj similarly decided to stay in Germany. Olympiacos duo Giorgios Masouras and Kostas Fortounis seem unlikely expensive purchases and Moreirense star Chiquinho was reportedly scouted but is set for Benfica. Greek international Andreas Samaris also reportedly decided to stay with Benfica.

FORWARDS - Josip Drmic (Borussia Monchengladbach)

German tabloid Bild claim the Canaries are keen on the Switzerland international with his contract due to expire after an injury-hit season.

West Brom striker, 29, is reported to be available for an initial £5m due to a release clause after the Baggies missed out on promotion. Former club Burnley are said to be keen with the Burnley Express including Norwich and Leicester in the interested parties after a 22-goal season.

Kwasi Okyere Wriedt (Bayern Munich II)

Being regularly linked with a move to a higher level in Germany after 23 goals last season, with Hertha Berlin, RB Salzburg and Genk all reported rivals to City for the 24-year-old Ghanian.

Nuno Da Costa (Strasbourg)

The Sun claim the 28-year-old Cape Verde international is a £5m target, after eight goals in the French top flight last season, claiming Brighton are also keen.

Sergi Enrich (Eibar)

AS in Spain claimed Norwich and Watford were tracking the 29-year-old ahead of his contract expiring, after seven goals in the Spanish top flight last season.

Chris Willock (Benfica)

City, West Brom and Hull were interested in a loan deal for the 21-year-old Englishman in January, according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, and the former Arsenal man could still be available but a big sell-on clause would be required.

Others

Jordan Rhodes to return on loan was an expected link while other Championship options Jarrod Bowen (Hull), Che Adams (Birmingham) and Neal Maupay (Brentford) all looked to be obvious but expensive options offered, as were Dwight Gayle (Newcastle) and Britt Assombalonga (Boro).

The £15m for Mbaye Diagne of Galatasaray also seems unlikely and Lorient star Alexis Claude-Maurice is set for Borussia Monchengladbach, despite reported £10m bids from Arsenal and West Ham. Paulinho of Braga was also mentioned in reports in Portugal but is set for Dynamo Kiev.
