Triple triumph for Waveney Girls

The midfielders M Wilson, S Knights and G Gooch tried to organise the Waveney game and after a similar situation which led to the Brandon goal, N Thomas equalised.
Waveney became stronger and after a long cross, S .Knights put Waveney into the lead.

Towards the end of the first half Waveney nevertheless let Brandon take over and with great commitment Brandon took a deserved half-time lead after a double strike.
C Hoffman managed to retrieve an over-hit cross and managed to cross back for L Teicher to equalise.

Two minutes later N Thomas put Waveney into the lead with a shot from 35 yards which just dipped under the crossbar.
After having won the league and county cup Waveney Girls managed to complete the triple in yet another very successful season. The team have maintained a 100pc record for the last four seasons in league and cup matches.
