Norwich City Supporters Trust has congratulated the club on the appointment of new chief executive David McNally - and hit out at criticism of the remaining directors.
The trust issued a statement applauding McNally's arrival and said it hoped any new directors appointed would be of the same calibre.
It read: “Amid the allegations by some fans that the directors at Norwich City Football Club lack sufficient football knowledge, the trust believe they are to be congratulated on obtaining the services of David McNally as the new chief executive.
“His track records at both Celtic and Fulham are excellent and if he can bring even 50 per cent of that level of achievement to Norwich City then our future looks significantly brighter.
