Lowestoft Town's injury-ravaged squad head west today in preparation for one of the biggest FA Cup games in the club's history.
Tomorrow they take on Gloucester City in Cirencester with a place in the first round proper and a potential tie against a Football League side at stake.
But the Ryman League Division One North outfit were forced to field a reserve side for Wednesday's Suffolk Premier Cup defeat to neighbours Kirkley & Pakefield after 11 first teamers were ruled out by injury.
However, joint boss Micky Chapman is expecting some of those players to be available as the 18-man squad go to Swindon for an overnight stay and believes the Blues can pull off a shock against a team from the Conference North, two leagues higher than Town.
“We'll be doing our utmost to be in the hat at 5pm on Saturday night,” he said. “We believe in ourselves.”
