Mustard sports editor Michael Bailey wraps up his take at Griffin Park, following Norwich City’s EFL Championship draw at Brentford
City’s 2016 came to an end with a goalless 90 minutes, despite numerous changes made by manager Alex Neil before kick-off.
It was also punctuated by several missed chances from Cameron Jerome and the 80th minute red card for Robbie Brady, following his 50-50 tackle on Ryan Woods.
Other than that, there was at least the odd positive performance for the City supporters to take away before the year came to an end.
City remain well off the pace of the Championship promotion race, with Bradley Johnson’s Derby the first visitors to Carrow Road in 2017, come Bank Holiday Monday’s 3pm kick-off.
