Mustard sports editor Michael Bailey and Eastern Daily Press journalist David Freezer have their say at New York Cardiff City Stadium, following Norwich City’s EFL Championship win at Cardiff.

The Canaries picked up their first win on the road since the start of October, as Cameron Jerome scored against one of his former clubs for the second weekend in a row.

His diving header from Wes Hoolahan’s free-kick proved enough to take all three points, but City had to dig deep to resist their direct and robust hosts, managed by Neil Warnock.

There were also promising debuts from the Canaries’ double Dutch deadline day signings, Mitchell Dijks and Yanic Wildschut, and a productive afternoon in Wales for Alex Neil’s men.

City remain on the fringes of the play-off picture as the prepare for another away trip on Tuesday, when they will head to relegation-threatened Wigan Athletic.
