The FA have deferred an announcement on the improper conduct charge being faced by Paul Lambert.
The City boss had been given until 4pm yesterday to respond to the charge, but on the eve of a league game it is customary for both parties to wait until after the weekend to release details.
Lambert was charged under FA Rule E3 after he was sent to the stands in the final minute of the controversial draw at Reading. Lambert had left his technical area to check on midfielder Korey Smith, who was receiving treatment after a challenge by Jem Karacan.
