Norwich City came unstuck against one of the summer Championship promotion favourites Aston Villa – and we were there from the big Norfolk depart to the final Villa Park debrief.

Our Canaries correspondents Michael Bailey and Paddy Davitt joined the departing coaches from Carrow Road, spoke to City fans outside Villa Park, got the post-match verdict from City head coach Daniel Farke and his opposite number, former Norwich centre-back Steve Bruce, and gave their own analysis following City’s second defeat of the season.

City were always behind in the game as Conor Hourihane bagged a hat-trick – leaving goals from Josh Murphy and substitute Nelson Oliveira nothing more than consolation strikes.
