Josip Drmic’s perfect hat-trick and Patrick Roberts’ superb first goal in Norwich City colours can now be watched in highlights from the Canaries’ 5-1 pre-season win at Luton Town.
Drmic scored with his right foot, left foot and head to score the traditional 'perfect' hat-trick, taking his pre-season tally to four goals and firing City 4-1 up with just 35 minutes played at Kenilworth Road.
That followed Marco Stiepermann's early opener, scrambling in at the back post after Kenny McLean had headed a Roberts corner from the left into the danger zone.
MATCHDAY RECAP: Luton Town 1 Norwich City 5 - Drmic and Roberts shine
Last season's League One champions had briefly pulled the score back to 3-1 thanks to Dan Potts turning home a Tim Krul parry from close range, but it was the Premier League side who dominated.
Manchester City loanee Roberts completed the rout with a lovely finish in the 55th minute, dropping a shoulder to create a yard of space and then curling a 25-yard effort into the top-left corner - in front of 600 travelling Canaries fans.
