Yanic Wildschut’s first-half strike was enough to earn Norwich City a gritty win at Bramall Lane and keep a third conseuctive clean sheet.
The Dutch winger’s opening goal of the league season, in the 23rd minute, earned Daniel Farke’s side their first away success of the campaign and inflicted a first defeat on the Blades in five games and their first at home in the Championship this season.
Norwich have now picked up seven points from a possible nine, but after heavy defeats at Aston Villa and Millwall this was also a timely win on the road - just a third victory in City’s last 21 away games.
