Webb promises attacking adventure to break his side's seven-game drawing spell in the match up between last season's Southern and Northern Premier champions.

Lynn top scorer Jack Defty operated in a solo mission at Stalybridge and Stafford but Webb admits the onus is on his side to go for the jugular.

“We've got the players to operate two different systems,” said Webb. “Away, we look nice and solid and hard to beat. Now we need to build on that at home. It's about getting on the front foot, putting crosses into the box and forcing the keeper to make saves. I think we've been doing that but at the end of the day you have to put the ball in the back of the net.”

Webb is challenging ex-Premiership striker Julian Joachim to live up to his star billing after being left out of the starting line up in recent games.

“Julian will get his chance,” said Webb. “It's up to him to take it but we can't afford to wait for him to produce the goods. If other players do the business then they will be in the team. It's not about the player. I will always do what I feel is right for the team. It's an on going process with Julian. We talk and will continue to talk - we're certainly nowhere near a Matty Nolan moment that's for sure.

“Jack is an integral part of how we play. He has already shown he can be a handful to back fours in this league. It's up to others to show me they can play alongside him. I want people to grab that opportunity. Danny (Bloomfield) has done well when he has gone in there.”

Fleetwood have shipped 14 league goals already in their Conference bow but did manage to grab a point against unbeaten leaders Southport.

“They are another team like ourselves just finding their feet,” said Webb. “When you go into a new league you want to hit the ground running. You only have to look at how that has happened to teams in the Southern section who have gone up. I honestly think we have adapted quite well. The lads have worked hard and been competitive in each game and the results prove that. In the long run that stands us in good stead. We have shown we can get to grips with this league and you need to do that because it's a tough old campaign.”

Skipper Greg Crane starts the first of a three match ban for his sending off at Alfreton. New Rushden recruit Scott Mitchell is poised for his home debut. Webb confirmed Mitchell's arrival paved the way for midfielder David Bridgwater's release.

The 27-year-old made six Blue Square North appearances for the club but was omitted from Webb's matchday squad at Stafford during midweek.

“It was very, very tough - the hardest decision since I've been at the club,” said Webb. “He hasn't really done anything wrong in his time here. He is a good passer of the ball but I'm just striving to find that balance. I felt after the Stalybridge game we needed a little bit more pace in the middle of the park. We brought in Scott and when I named the team at Stafford I could see Bridgy was very disappointed to be left out.

“I couldn't justify bringing him from the other side of Birmingham to maybe be on the bench or not even in the squad. Obviously there was also the issue of balancing the books. We are constantly looking at the squad. I never stop reviewing it but I believe what we have here is good enough to do the job I want going forward. That isn't to say if we find players who can improve us we will look at the situation.”
