Norwich City reserve team boss Keith Webb looks set to become the new manager of King's Lynn.
Webb, who has been on the Carrow Road coaching staff since becoming youth team coach in 1986, is in talks with the Southern League club about becoming Tommy Taylor's successor.
Confirmation of talks being held came on the Canaries' official website.
Lynn have been without a full-time boss since Taylor left them for a coaching role with League Two club Peterborough United earlier this season.
Since then, former City midfielder Shaun Carey has been in charge in a caretaker capacity, including leading them into the FA Cup third round defeat at home to Oldham.
But the Linnets are now looking to fill the vacancy on a full-time basis, with Webb understood to be favourite to take over.
