Dyers Arms were the visitors to Thorpe High School, undefeated in six games, against an in-form Wensum Albion team.
Albion got off to a bright start passing the ball effectively round the park. The home side took the lead after 18 minutes when the referee awarded a penalty for a handball in the box. Leeper stepped up and fired down the middle to make it 1-0.
Leeper scored his second soon after, making space in the area and stroking the ball home with his left foot. Chances fell to striker Gorbould who eventually found himself on the score sheet, a header from close range from a Taylor cross.
Andy Rochford made it 4-0 early in the second half, following in a Leeper free-kick to stab the ball home after a keeper fumble, his first and most likely last goal of the season. Dyers Arms then started applying more pressure and were rewarded when a free kick from the left was headed in to his own goal by defender Jon O’Shea.
Further chances fell to O’Shea and Taylor but could not be converted whilst at the other end Matt Cooper made an outstanding save from a goalbound Dyers free-kick. Taylor did eventually find the net finishing well from inside the area from a Gorbould pass. Leeper completed his hat-trick on 70 minutes curling a cross/shot over the Dyers goalkeeper
