UEA 1 Wensum Albion 0

Albion were hoping to put in a solid performance at Colney against a UEA side who are always well organised and difficult to break down. Albion started brightly giving the opposition little time on the ball and attacking with purpose. However, it was the home side who scored early on, a UEA striker finding space to fire past 'keeper Hales from the angle. Despite the setback Albion kept their heads up and played some good football, Mark Leeper saw a freekick go close as the away side looked for the equaliser. Albion continued to play well into the second half although the final ball often lacked quality. Adam Jarrett saw a corner hit the woodwork and Ian Edgerton clipped the bar with a cheeky looping shot but it seemed Albion were out of luck certainly deserving of a point but leaving with nothing.
