Norwich City’s all-time Premier League position has been revealed.
Talksport have used a points per game calculation for each of the 49 teams who have played in the top flight since its inception in 1992-93.
And while City are currently two divisions higher than old foes Ipswich Town, they are below them in the overall table – but not by much.
The Canaries are 32nd, with a PPG of 1.10, while Town are two places higher, in 30th, with a PPG of 1.11.
Manchester United, with 13 Premier League titles to their name, top the table with a PPG average of 2.07.
Arsenal sit second with 1.87 PPG, Chelsea third with 1.85 PPG, this season’s champions-elect Liverpool are fourth with 1.81 PPG and Manchester City round out the top five on 1.63 PPG.
Huddersfield Town, who were relegated from the top flight after a single season in 2018/19, prop up the all-time table with a measly 0.70 PPG.
While City are bottom of the current Premier League table, they do at least have a chance to improve their record: Town haven’t been in the top flight since 2001-02 and are currently 10th in League One.
