Left-back Wiggins, 22, joined the Canaries from Crystal Palace in July, 2009 but found opportunities to break into the City first team limited thanks in part to the excellent form of Adam Drury and subsequent arrival of Michael Rose. Wiggins was restricted to just two starts in the Johnstones Paint Trophy last season and appearing as a substitute in the FA Cup tie away to Paulton.

The Welsh Under-21 international was previously at Bournemouth on a loan spell at Bournemouth in the 2008-09 season, making 13 appearances. He returned there last season, playing 19 times as the Cherries finished runners-up to Notts County in League Two.
