Yanic Wildschut feels Norwich City’s Championship promotion credentials will be tested over the next three games.
The Canaries host big-spending duo Derby County and Wolves in coming days before a tricky test at struggling Bolton prior to the next international break.
City may have come up short in the League Cup at Arsenal during the week, but have not lost in the league since August 26.
“This is a really tough moment with really good opponents. After this period we’ll be able to see where everyone is now,” he said. “If we get good results in these next three games it can give us a big, big boost.
“We know it is tough, we know it is a long season but after a shaky start it would show we are moving forward and we just want to go on and be up there at the end of the season.
“We never go into a game thinking we are unbeaten for so long in the league. We just want to extend it because that feeling after a win is so good and you want to keep this run going as long as possible.
“You just have to look how far we have come since the Millwall game.”

Wildschut insists there was no panic inside the camp after a patchy start to life under Daniel Farke hit its lowest point in a 4-0 hammering at the Den.
“From the beginning when we went to Germany for the training camp in the summer and the new boys were coming in we said everyone was really getting along well together,” he said. “Maybe that bad time at the beginning has now helped us.
“We had a good pre-season but then we had some setbacks. We stopped and said, ‘Listen, this is what we have to change’. We were playing good football but conceding too many goals. It is nice when you work on keeping clean sheets and then you go out and do that.”
Wildschut has had his own ups and downs since moving from Wigan in January.
“It was hard coming in that window and the club wasn’t in a good place on the pitch. You can see the difference now with the team,” he said. “It was a bit strange for me with a new coach in the beginning this season, because the manager had different ideas to what I am used to in terms of how I play.
“I am getting more and more game time and hopefully I can contribute with more goals and assists in the future.
“I feel it has gone alright of late.”
