Wroxham manager Damian Hilton will be urging his lack of action men to get their game together for tonight's vital Norfolk Senior Cup quarter-final against the “old enemy” Diss Town at Trafford Park (7.45pm).
Wroxham have not kicked a ball since drawing 2-2 at Soham on December 17, and Hilton still remembers the humiliating 3-0 defeat inflicted on his team by the Tangerines in last season's Carrow Road final - his first big game in charge of the Yachtsmen.
"Tonight's game may be only a quarter-final but winning it is very important for us. We have to get out there and avenge last season's embarrassing defeat and erase it from everyone's memory," said Hilton.
His squad should include defender Dave Tyrie, who is back from America for one month, while Gavin Pauling has recovered from injury and Lee Gilman has finished his suspension.
Former Diss Town defender Leighton Miller will be ineligible because he has already played in the Suffolk Senior Cup for Needham Market, from whom he is on loan.
"The two players unavailable are Martyn Magee who is suspended and Ben Carver is still away on holiday," said Hilton.
