Wroxham 2, Woodbridge Town 2Wroxham with a much changed side including Graham Challen and Danny Self both recovered from injury soon got into their stride.

Wroxham played their last Ridgeons Premier Division game at the weekend - and now full attention can turn to the FAVase final against Whitley Bay at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.

They finished in eighth place in the table after playing catch-up for the past few months because of their success in the Vase competition.

Wroxham 2,

Woodbridge 2

Wroxham, with a much-changed side including Graham Challen and Danny Self both recovered from injury, soon got into their stride.

Ross Durrant had an early chance but pulled his

shot wide and Ollie King headed over.

Against the run of play the visitors took the lead when Gavin Frost strode forward and his shot from the edge of the area took

a deflection to give Walton no chance.

Within a minute Wroxham equalised when James Bulman was set free by Gary Gilmore and he delightfully slotted the ball in the bottom corner.

Wroxham went ahead on 15 minutes when they won a free-kick 25 yards out and Danny Self curled his shot over the wall into the bottom corner.

Wroxham appeared to be well in charge and had the ball in the net again on 25 minutes when Wines' free-kick found Challen who headed across goal for Bulman to tap in but he was adjudged to be offside.

Wroxham went close again when a good move ended with a Josh Carus header that was just wide.

Woodbridge full-back Tom Trivivian did push on but his shot was off-target but the visitors were mostly on the back foot.

Wroxham almost had a third just before the break when Ollie King, who seemed clearly two yards offside, was allowed to play on and his cross was set

up for Owen Paynter, who was stretching and unable to connect.

Wroxham took off Challen at half-time and his replacement was Danny Boswell.

Paynter and Frost were booked for a slight spat and soon after Paynter should have scored when clean through but the keeper blocked his shot.

Paynter had an even better chance when King pulled the ball back but with an open goal he ballooned the

ball over.

A bad mistake by Caurs allowed Ben Seaman a chance to shoot but Walton pulled off an excellent one-hand save, diving to his left.

Wroxham were becoming very wasteful and tried to walk the ball in when Durrant set up Paynter who returned the compliment but the final shot

was straight at the keeper.

Paynter again had a chance but mis-hit and the ball fell for

Durrant whose shot was well saved by Wilson.

After missing so many chances it was no surprise when the visitors took one of their few and Frost again scored with a curling shot from the edge of the area to beat Walton and equalise on 75 minutes.

Wroxham went close when Bulman's shot was well saved by Wilson.

The home side brought on their subs and one of them, Paul Timm, almost scored a late winner when Gilmore set him up with a back-to-goal bicycle kick which Wilson turned over.
