The top three in the Crown Fire Central & Norfolk League all had comfortable wins - leaders Saham Toney 6-1 at Shipdham, second-placed Thetford Athletic 7-1 victory at Hingham Athletic and Mulbarton Wanderers 4-1 at home to Yaxham.
With Division Two leaders Attleborough Town A without a game, Swaffham Town A closed the gap to two points by beating Yaxham Reserves 4-0.
Division three leaders West End increased their lead to five points with a 2-1 win at Great Cressingham while second-placed Thetford Rovers Reserves were held to a 3-3 draw by Bradenham Wanderers Reserves.
t Nicholsons of Stalham (NEN) League champions East Ruston are creeping up the table almost unnoticed. After defeating leaders Gimingham 2-0 they are now third, seven points adrift with a game in hand. Second-placed Mundesley, who drew 2-2 with North Walsham Old Boys, are four points ahead of John Nicholson's men from two games more.
In Knights Trophies Division Three Haisboro Athletic hammered Gimingham Reserves 11-1 with eight goals from Crabb.
