In the Premier Division Norwich United beat Dereham 1-0 with a 12th minute goal from Steve Shipley, who headed home from a free-kick by Gavin Frost. The Planters were forced to hang on in the closing stages after defender Tom Jeal was dismissed for a second yellow card.

In another Norfolk derby, this time in Division One, Diss won 3-1 at Swaffham. They took the lead in the ninth minute when Sam Bryant turned in a shot across goal by Jake Burton. Swaffham equalised just before the break with a free-kick by Ben Russell. But two fine second half goals from George Watts-Sturrock gave Diss the points.
